The Initial edition of Monday Night Football Falls off in Denver at Mile High Stadium in Week 2 of the preseason.
It’s the preseason edition of Monday Night Football, but there is a narrative to follow within this game no matter. He may not be out that ; however, Jimmy Garoppolo will measure on a field for the first time since Week 3 of 2018.
In his first full summer in San Francisco after backing up Tom Brady in New England for 2 decades, Garoppolo did not last long, using just 718 yards, 5 touchdowns, and 3 interceptions thrown. We did not get to see enough of Garoppolo to garner much of the impression last season.
Pressure is going to be about Garoppolo to jump straight into this year and produce instantly. Fans are not going to have much patience once he missed a year. Garoppolo is being paid well to be the starting quarterback for the 49ers and with all the injury , it is time to perform and win games. The 49ers went 4-12 at 2018, so will absolutely have to be improved upon by at least a couple of games.
Garoppolo had a dreadful clinic the other day, throwing 4 consecutive interceptions for that which had been a day to overlook. However, he bounced back to get a sharp practice the next day to get his confidence back fast. The 49ers and Broncos are holding joint practices this week, which means they are going to be acquainted with one another.
A battle broke out in one of those clinics, which seemed to be started by the 49ers’ defense. Those things can occur, especially when it’s warm out and tempers are flaring. Reports from the practices suggested that the first-team crime were out of sync for the Broncos, although Flacco was looking great. The offensive line is an issue going into the regular season in Denver and also the preseason hasn’t done anything to imply they do not need to worry.
This is currently the next preseason game for the Broncos, having played in the Hall of Fame Game. No staff should have to perform four preseason games, let just five of them. Flacco is very likely to see 1 series against the 49ers on Monday night. He had a quick look from the Seahawks last week, departure for 19 yards on 3-of-4 passing. Rookie Drew Lock may see the most snaps for the Broncos here. Head below for our complimentary 49ers vs. Broncos select.

The Broncos don’t expect they have to see much of Drew Lock this year. If they do, it signifies their starter, Joe Flacco, is acting with horribly or got injured. The Broncos need Lock to sit to get a veteran and observe how he operates until throwing him out there with flying.
Lock had a decent excursion in Seattle a week, as he passed for 180 yards on 17-of-28 death with a touchdown and interception. The match was all about Lock, since third-string QB, Kevin Hogan, had the chance to throw only 7 moves.
The offensive line scenario in Denver isn’t wonderful. They dropped center Matt Paradis and right guard Billy Turner, which critical cogs missing for the Broncos. It’s certainly not going to be the worst unit in the NFL, but a rookie QB operating behind a less than ideal offensive line is not the ideal formula.
Permit front office to construct the line up and find some dangerous vertical goals and Lock should be ready in a couple of years. The largest weapons in the Bronco offense this year will be the combo of Philip Lindsay and Royce Freeman.
Freeman is a man to watch on, since he completes his second season in the NFL. He ended with 521 rushing yards and 5 rushing touchdowns to get a fairly good rookie effort. This was with missing two games because of an ankle injury.
If Freeman remains healthy, expect big numbers from him. He rushed for 16.3 yards per carry last week from the Seahawks for 49 yards on only 3 carries. Coupled with Lindsay, the Broncos have been in good shape in the backfield.
Together with all the Broncos devoting Lock a heavy workout this week, the 49ers are going to give a couple of youngsters work behind him. There’s a QB battle happening supporting Garoppolo, together with Nick Mullens and C.J. Beathard at a virtual tie now for the backup role. Beathard played in six games a season ago and has been decent, together with 8 touchdowns and seven interceptions. In addition, he played in seven games from 2017, so he’s starting experience.
Nick Mullens has regular life experience also. He split time with Beathard last year, appearing in eight matches and death for 13 touchdowns and 10 interceptions. Pretty much with Beathard’s creation. Against the Cowboys in Week 1 of the preseason, again, they were even in the race.
Beathard and Mullens both threw for a touchdown and interception. The 49ers may want to amuse a trade, but keeping three QB’s on the roster with Garoppolo’s harm concern may be for the best. In another meaningless game, allow me two quarterbacks that have NFL experience against Lock, who’s going to function as the focal point for the Broncos on Monday night.
