Andrew Luck Odds: Will He Return to the NFL or Opt for the XFL?

Andrew Luck’s choice to walk away from football and retire at age 29 sent shock waves throughout the gaming world, and the Indianapolis Colts will be forced to proceed with no franchise quarterback with less than fourteen days prior to the 2019 NFL season will get underway.
Luck was seen on the sidelines of the Colts’ preseason competition after the Adam Schefter of ESPN broke the information and the QB proceeded to get booed by the Indianapolis loyal. After the game, Luck verified the information at a press conference, citing a mounting injury background using a toll on his mind.
“I felt stuck and the only way from this is to no longer play football,” he explained. “It has taken my pleasure from the match.” The first overall pick in the 2012 NFL Draft leaves the franchise he known along with 171 career touchdowns along with 23,671 passing yards as a four-time Pro Bowler.
But there is one tidbit to this story that is significantly interesting: Luck’s father, Oliver Luck, is commissioner and that the CEO of Vince McMahon’s XFL that’s getting set to reboot in 2020.
Online sportsbook BetOnline has released odds on which Andrew’s future holds, together with all the odds on him acting in the NFL in the subsequent two years in +500, the chances of him linking the XFL in +1500 and an alternative for”neither” at -4000.
Given Luck’s extensive injury history and the fact he’s already got close to $100 million in his eponymous profession, it would not be a jolt to see No. 12 never play professionally again. But stranger things have occurred in pro sports, and the Colts would welcome the signal-caller back with open arms down the road, if he gets the itch to compete .
Luck had three years remaining on the extension he will be currently devoting $58 million and signed up in 2016. With former backup-turned-starter Jacoby Brissett at tow, oddsmakers are not expecting much from your Luck-less Colts, since BetOnline fell Indy’s Super Bowl cost following the news broke.
