Clare hurling joint-manager Gerry O’Connor steps aside

Gerry O’Connor, joint-manager of the Clare hurlers, has resigned.
Three years later he took the reins up alongside Donal Moloney, O’Connor has stepped. The duo had enjoyed a period responsible for the county’s underage teams, even prior to getting the occupation following the death of Davy Fitzgerald before the 2017 season.
It remains unclear regarding if Moloney will remain at the helm.
In 2018, the Banner County was guided by the duo to the during their stint, in which they lost out to reigning champions Galway by a point.
On the other hand, that the 2019 effort wasn’t as successful, despite picking up two wins, as Clare didn’t make it through the Munster round robin.
