Emiliano Sala’s family want truth about plane crash revealed

Footballer Emiliano Sala’s family, that died when the airplane he was traveling in came in the English Channel, insist they would do whatever possible to ensure the truth about the injury is disclosed.
Sala was the album signing of Cardiff and has been on his way.
The Air Accident Investigations Branch revealed until the plane came down that pilot and he Dave Ibbotson, who also died in the wreck, had suffered carbon monoxide poisoning.
A crowdfunding site to locate Sala’s figure was set up by the family and there were reports that they may do exactly the same for the wreckage of their airplane to be retrieved.
The family said in a statement, issued by their solicitor:”Emiliano’s family have been disappointed with the AAIB’s response to Emiliano’s death.
“They were particularly surprised if, in the immediate wake of the incident, it appeared that the AAIB had given on running a full search for the aeroplane so it fell on them to perform this.
“Without David Mearns finding the airplane, Emiliano’s body might not have been regained and the potential importance of carbon monoxide poisoning of him and the pilot would not have been understood.
“The family hope that the inquest process will provide them with all the answers they seek in regard to Emiliano’s passing and air safety will be improved, including the prevention of deaths in future. They hope that their religion in justice that is English is not betrayed.
“The family will be keeping all options on the table as to their next move. They will do every thing possible to ensure that the truth about this horrible accident is revealed, so no household has to go through the same misery.”
