The Mets will probably be looking for much more from Marcus Stroman down the stretch. He has not helped thus far and has not made the Mets look overly glowing moving after him. The Mets went to a monster 16-1 run, but that has nothing. In any case, the Mets have won of the begins of Stroman. He could have thrown better, however.
Between his first two excursions with the Mets, Stroman has now posted an ERA of all both 6.10 at 10.1 innings of work. He allowed 7 earned runs, together with 16 hits and 5 walks in those innings. Therefore, while Stroman gets a pass so far, particularly after the Mets won both games, he should be greater than that to make the trade worthwhile. The Braves are hitting .280 using a .337 OBP. On the opposite side, the Mets have a history against Teheran within his career.
The Mets will eclipse 400 at-bats from Teheran in this contest. They struck .216 along with 10 home runs. Getting to Teheran hasn’t been simple for visiting teams. Teheran possesses an ERA of 2.52 at 60.2 innings of chunk in Atlanta. He’s yielded just 5 long balls in home in 2019 as well. Note that Teheran hasn’t given up more than 3 runs because June 24th from the Cubs, and has allowed less or two runs in seven of his last outings.
In his latest look against the Mets, the Braves were winners by a score of 5-4. We are seeing what’s happening to the Mets now they have to play with a team that is winning. During their run, the only team they beat with a list more than .500 were the Nationals, who they finally had their winning streak.
