Panthers vs. Patriots NFL Pick – Preseason Week 3

Week 3 of the NFL Preseason kicks off Thursday night with six matches on the card. For exactly what people refer to rehearsal the Carolina Panthers and New England Patriots have been in activity at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough. I really don’t understand so much about that in this instance. Tom Brady may or may not perform in this match. It’s not much of a dress rehearsal without Brady taking a snap.
Bill Belichick has not revealed much, although brady has said he would like to get a few snaps in the preseason. The Patriots have appeared quite great despite playing in the preseason. Depth does not seem as a problem for the Patriots, particularly for their defense which is currently going to be useful at the regular season.
The Patriots enter using 22-17 within the Titans and wins over the Lions of 31-3 at the preseason. They looked sharp and crisp at both matches on the road. The Lions did not come close to scoring a touchdown in the contest, since the Patriots came close to pitching a shutout. Note that Brady hasn’t played a down, and that they did just fine using the playing.
Brian Hoyer has a lot of experience from the NFL, so it is not going to be anything new for him if he gets the beginning here. Cam Newton has not played in the preseason as well. He is coming from a shoulder injury that seriously limited his capacity to zip around the ball in the second-half of 2018.
Newton will get a chance to shake off the rust from the Pats in this . He played through the injury if he shouldn’t have. The Panthers weren’t a playoff competition, so pushing Cam wasn’t a fantastic move. Ron Rivera has said that Newton will perform in three or four series against the Pats.
We probably won’t know until just prior to the game with Belichick is going to do with Brady, but they’re in good company with two quality backups. Head below for our complimentary Panthers vs. Patriots select for Week 3 of the NFL Preseason.

This is an opportunity for Cam to shake the rust off and convince himself using an NFL field again. Nothing will be too exotic for the offense in this area. The Panthers started the preseason with a win against the Bears on the street, 23-13, along with a loss at home against the Bills. It has become clear that the Panthers are going to have no achievement without Newton.
The quarterback drama behind Newton is not so encouraging. A gunslinger out of West Virginia, Will Grier was drafted by the Panthers. He set up monster numbers at school, but that was a shotgun passer from the Big 12. Not every quarterback can visit the NFL and instantly produce like Pat Mahomes or even Baker Mayfield. There are a lot more 12 QB busts than guys that have seen success.
The transition is difficult for quarterbacks playing in that form of spread crime. With his ability to scramble and find a open receiver , he gets by for Mahomes. Grier does not have the capability to run around and make something out of nothing. The Chiefs were clever by implementing elements of Mahomes’ crime at Texas Tech.
This offense in Carolina is built around Cam Newton. Grier is going to need to show a great deal more before he has offensive coordinators structuring a playbook around his skillset. Grier is coming off a shoddy performance, as he passed for 75 yards with an interception on 10-of-19 passing. I really don’t have a lot of faith in Kyle Allen and Tyler Heinicke against this profound New England defense as well.
Who I do have faith in his Patriots’ rookie Jarrett Stidham. I enjoyed Stidham if he was in college when he had been one of those few quarterbacks to figure out the Alabama defense and I still like his outlook. Stidham was talked about often during the college football season, but everyone seemed to forget about him if it was completed. The Patriots scooped him up in the fourth-round so far so good in New England.
Stidham passed for 179 yards and a touchdown against the Lions and then followed it up with another marquee performance against the Titans. Stidham torched the Titans for 193 yards and a touchdown at a 22-17 win. Spreads are covered and dismissed by quarter play in the preseason. At house on Thursday night, I have more confidence at the Patriots’ backups to outperform the Panthers in this .
