Tottenham’s Giovani Lo Celso plays down injury suffered on Argentina duty

Tottenham midfielder Giovani Lo Celso has picked up a groin injury while on international duty but played down the severity of the setback.
The 23-year-old was pulled through the 0-0 draw against Chile after 53 minutes and seems likely to overlook their match Mexico on Wednesday.
Argentina’s official twitter account then confirmed he had”suffered a setback” into his left groin.
But, Lo Celso told me:”My problem was just a blowoff. It is not something to be concerned about.
“We had a bit more. We had a lot of opportunities to convert however, it wasn’t to be.”
Lo Celso came at Tottenham on loan together with the obligation to buy summer, but is nevertheless to get up to speed along with his Spurs team-mates.
The midfielder has made three substitute appearances at the Premier League but is yet to begin a game for the Champions League runners-up.
Fellow summertime window acquisitions Tanguy Ndombele and Ryan Sessegnon are currently currently sidelined with injuries.
