On the eve of training camp, the Vikings and the tight end have agreed to terms on a four-year, $36 million extension, NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reported, per a source informed.
“I am honored beyond words to say my home, our house will always be in Minnesota,” the 29-year-old submitted on Twitter.Rudolph supported weeks ago the group gave him a last-minute contract extension and both sides were working to resolve the circumstance.
The contract extension keeps him in Minnesota to assist coach Irv Smith, who the team drafted in the second round of this draft.
